Journal ISSN Lookup
An ISSN is one of the most reliable ways to identify a serial publication because journal titles can change, be abbreviated or look very similar to one another. This lookup accepts both the standard hyphenated format and the eight-character form without a hyphen.
What you can search
Enter a print ISSN or electronic ISSN, such as 0007-9235. If a matching record is available, the page will return the journal title together with identifiers, publisher information and available journal-level metrics.
Print ISSN and eISSN
Some journals have separate identifiers for print and electronic editions, while others may have only one identifier in the dataset. The ISSN identifies the serial publication; it does not by itself confirm indexing status, Journal Impact Factor eligibility or the quality of a journal.
If an ISSN does not return a result, check the number for typing errors and try the journal title in the main search. For formal verification, use the publisher's official journal page, the ISSN Portal or the relevant indexing and metric provider.
