About Journals Impact Factors

Journals Impact Factors is an independent journal-information website created to make commonly searched journal details easier to find and compare. Researchers often need to check a title, ISSN, publisher, Journal Impact Factor, quartile or related metric while evaluating journals. Our goal is to bring those fields together in a simple, searchable format.

The website includes individual journal profiles together with practical tools for ISSN lookup, Impact Factor filtering, quartile checking and journal comparison. We also publish explanatory pages that help readers understand what different journal metrics mean and, just as importantly, what they do not mean.

What this website is not

We are not a journal-ranking authority and we do not create the Journal Impact Factor or Journal Citation Indicator. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Clarivate, Web of Science, Journal Citation Reports, Scopus, SCImago or the publishers listed in the directory.

Our approach

We try to present structured journal information without turning a single metric into a quality label. Journal choice should consider subject relevance, editorial practices, indexing, readership, publication policies and the needs of the research—not only citation numbers.

If you notice an incorrect title, identifier, publisher or metric, please use the Corrections or Contact page to let us know. Clear corrections help keep the directory useful for everyone.
