Journal metrics

Journal Impact Factor (JIF) and Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) are separate journal-level metrics. A JCI value must not be interpreted as a Journal Impact Factor. Where a metric is missing, this website does not intentionally substitute another indicator in its place.

No individual assessment

Journal-level citation metrics are not measures of the quality of a particular article, author, researcher, institution or research project. They should be interpreted together with subject context and other qualitative information.

Verification

Although reasonable efforts are made to present journal information accurately, records may be incomplete, delayed or affected by source updates. For formal or consequential use, verify the information with the official journal, publisher, indexing service or metric provider.
